Dot is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, who brings with her expertise and a background in the social housing sector and valuation modelling, as a specialist in the valuation of affordable housing. Dot will be helping the team with viability modelling, consultations with Registered Providers, analysis of residential values and market research, as well as a host of other work to support the team on a range of projects.

Before joining Three Dragons, Dot was a Director in the Housing Valuation team at Savills, based in Leeds. Her clients have been a mixture of Registered Providers, charities, banks, and other financial institutions, spread across the UK, working mostly on the valuation of portfolios of social housing stock for loan security purposes. Separately, she was also on the board of a housing association for 4 years.

Dot’s educational background was in planning and development, with a BA(Hons) from the University of Sheffield in Urban Studies and Town Planning, and an MA from the University of Manchester in Urban Regeneration and Development. Alongside her work at Three Dragons, Dot provides valuation and consultancy advice to charities, community groups and providers of specialist supported housing. Dot also volunteers as a Counsellor at Childline.

Talking about her new role, Dot said; “I’m really excited to be getting involved with the variety of projects that Three Dragons work on and getting back to my roots in planning and development! The team have been really welcoming and have already got me stuck into interesting work on Local Authorities’ local plans and engaging with RPs to help guide policy, as well as getting me up and running on the Three Dragons toolkit. So far I’ve learnt a lot from the variety of expertise within the team, and I’m sure this is just the start.”
