Gypsy and Traveller site assessment for Middlesbrough Council

Three Dragons undertook a Gypsy and Traveller site assessment to identify additional pitches in Middlesbrough in 2024. This was undertaken on behalf of Middlesbrough Council as part of the evidence base for the new local plan and helped to address issues arising with previous proposals. Three Dragons used a structured two-stage review to assess potential public and private sites to determine if they are suitable, available and achievable to meet the Gypsy and Traveller housing need. Consultation was undertaken with council housing and assets officers, the Gypsy and Traveller community and the business community. The Gypsy and Traveller site assessment identified a shortlist of potential sites for the council to consider.
